We are a lifestyle showroom, not just a furniture store.
Our showroom at 2527 Larimer Street in Denver, Colorado’s RINO District (the River North Art District) is a testimony to our overarching practice of sustainability. We sell enduring furniture, the height of quality, designed and built to last a lifetime. That helps save the planet over buying furniture again and again over a lifetime. In the 1940s, our building served as a garage for the Benjamin Moore paint factory. Over the next many decades, warehouses all along Larimer Street were shuttered. By the turn of the Millennium though, developers snapped up the long-forgotten property to convert to loft residences. Restaurants, business, and retail soon followed. The Studio2b showroom features two floors of furniture, art and built-in kitchen displays under an expansive barrel ceiling. The juxtaposition of uber-modern furnishings against the timbered backdrop is a testimony to the truth that modern furnishings are not restricted to modern structures at all.
Take a seat in one of the deep upholstered occasional chairs that dot the showroom and you’ll be tempted to tuck in for the day. It’s that comfortable.
That’s the mystic of Studio 2b’s collections. The European lines are at once beautiful to behold and at the same time highly functional. Take for instance the conference table that extends with a touch of a button. The center of the stretch of table splits apart and a stone leaf rises up, rotates direction and settles into position, locking securely. No tugging on the table ends, no lugging the leaf from a storage closet. It’s all accomplished with a pointer finger.
Their clientele is, of course, part local and equal parts national. While a lot of Studio2b business is conducted electronically, locals consider themselves lucky to wander through the displays. Beverage anyone? Samantha serves up a freshly crafted latte with foam to rival any major coffee shop brand. It’s presented in real china accompanied by raw sugar, a silver serving spoon and a couple of European cookies.
“You don’t serve peanuts in first class,” Samantha adds.
Studio2b will transform and stimulate the way you visualize your world. We invite you to visit our reclaimed space and experience it firsthand.
